- difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- nausea or vomiting
- light-headedness or fainting
- cold sweat and becoming pale
- chest discomfort or pain
- persistent coughing or wheezing
- swollen ankles, legs or abdomen
- palpitation (increased heart rate)
- fatigue
By addressing behavioural risk factors like tobacco use, unhealthy eating and obesity, inactivity and excessive alcohol consumption, you can avoid the majority of cardiovascular diseases.
